The Brother ADS-2400N desktop scanner is equipped with wired networking capability for fast transfer of business information. Three programmable buttons allow users to scan to pre-selected locations at the touch of a button. This ensures that business-critical information arrives on time and at the desired location.

The ADS-2400N saves work teams from having to scan documents - it scans to the network, OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software, USB media, document, image, SharePoint® and email, so different teams can use the device regardless of their roles or requirements. The USB connectivity feature allows users to connect an external USB storage device of up to 64 GB.

The ADS-2400N is equipped with TWAIN-enabled image processing features, allowing the device to deliver professional business-ready document scanning results. The image processing features prepare and clean scanned documents, improving the quality of the scanned image for storage, editing, sharing and OCR requirements. This ensures that archived backups of business-critical documents or digitised documents are easy to read and reference.

With high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity, automatic 2-sided colour scanning, 50-sheet ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) and 80 images/min (40 sheets/min) scanning, the ADS-2400N is the professional scanner for all your small and medium-sized business needs.

Professional paper handling

The trays are also angled to prevent paper sheets from colliding and slide more easily, ensuring smooth stacking and reducing the chance of paper creasing. Multifeed Detection

This system uses sound waves to identify potential misfeeds. The paper pathway is automatically suspended and the user alerted if an irregular signal is detected, reducing the risk of damaged documents and lost data.
