Software bundled with the DS models includes Document Capture Pro 2 and Epson Scan 2.0, as well as TWAIN driver support, making it easier to scan, record and share information across the enterprise. Advanced naming, separation and document routing features ensure simple and logical scanning. Users can save and send files in common formats such as PDF, JPEG, TIFF and many others. Continuous scanning with auto-feed mode speeds up the scanning process, while the CIS sensor allows scanning immediately without additional warm-up time.

The ability to scan different types of documents and media makes this model extremely reliable and valuable. It handles paper from 35 to 270 gsm and long paper up to 1.8 m.
